The neighborhood around Burnett Middle School worked together to create a lively, beautiful mural to awaken a neglected passage way in the 800 block of North Second Street in North San Jose.

Muralist Lacey Bryant spent time photographing neighborhood youth and rendered artistic versions of the faces of these children to create the mural on the wall.It is an inspired choice to reflect the youth of the neighborhood in this mural that provides a colorful, vibrant backdrop to the newly created pocket park.

Your donations helped make this possible. There are still a handful of small projects that will take place within the park. Your contributions go directly to this project and are tax-deductible.
